Our newest vinyl release is now available. 10 tracks of potent, crackling dub abstraction and sound system meditations from the elusive dub experimentalists known as SEEKERSINTERNATIONAL.
Raised in the 80’s and 90’s mobile DJ culture of the Philippines and currently based in Richmond, British Columbia, SEEKERSINTERNATIONAL (aka SKRS) have been actively shaping their unique, left-of-center roots inspired minimalist dub since the late 90s. SKRS holds true to dub music’s original spirit of exploration and transformation as both a metaphor for and a reflection of one’s inner search: from slowed breaths to quickened senses; looped invocations and false starts; shifting realities and eroded beliefs; refracted egos and the all-echoing Oneness – all subjects of their (re)search – all part of The Dance.

SKRS – GyalCircuit – SINGLE
Boomarm Nation is proud to present SEEKERSINTERNATIONAL’s GyalCircuit, the lead single to the forthcoming full length LP, “HER.IMPERIAL.MAJESTY”, due out worldwide June 16, 2015.
We set things off in fine style with the minimalist bubblers meditation of the title track, GyalCircuit. Cosmic, hypnotic and ready to smash up the dance, SKRS creates a swirling framework built from analog synths firmly grounding a weightless looped deejay toast, exposing the embers of SKRS unique brand of sound system music.
The B side finds Boomarm Label boss GULLS in dub conference along side SKRS, together creating a burned out overdriven VERSION. Replacing the stark, implied spaces of the original with a pummeling 4×4 kick drum and looping sub bass, piled high amidst classic SKRS “bruk” vocal chops and cosmic throws to towers of tape delay and spring reverb.
The GyalCircuit SINGLE comes served on a limited edition gold cassette and unlimited digital (iTunes, boomkat, juno). Mastered for your BOOMBOXX by The Stuntman, this pro-dubbed gold cassingle is limited to 100 copies, and comes packed in a classic heavy paper wrapped O-Card designed by MYSTERYFORMS.
